During my Saturn return, I hit rock bottom and was desperately looking for help as I felt like I lost my intuition and was constantly experiencing deep phases of depression.
This is when I was introduced to the holistic idea of energies and received therapy that slowly reconnected me with my senses.
In 2018, my second studio album "Empty Sea" was released, which is my personal documentation and processing of this dark period. Simultaneously, I started to receive education in energy healing to be able to support myself while I was touring and traveling.
Slowly, I regained health and an enjoyable life quality while experiencing dreams, still on the faster, better, stronger train track.
It took the pause of the pandemic to fully reconnect with my psychic abilities, reclaiming them back, studying, and learning the craft of mediumship. Frequencies, crystals, and sounds, as well as a circle of psychic mediums, helped me train this muscle and remember a core essence of mine
This is when I began realizing that it might be true what people often said about the transformative healing quality of my voice.
In very personal sound baths, I started using my voice in combination with the crystal alchemy bowls and set an intention. I realized that I am allowed to become a vessel that serves my audience with whatever serves their highest good.
The aspect of cyclic living could also reenter my life, and I am grateful for these immense positive changes I am allowed to experience.
My lifelong passion for symbolism, music, mystic, and nature are my driving force.
Experiencing how deeply my voice is allowed to touch and move the collective and individuals is my ‘why’.
Growing up in a little village in southern Germany, surrounded by a forest, gave me the experience of living with cyclic nature. This shaped my perception of life.
My dad immigrated from Sicily as a young teenager, and my mom was born and raised in this village.
As a kid, my senses have been capable of communicating and translating the intangible. Growing up, I started repressing these perceptions, thinking I am crazy for most of my life.
I've been singing for as long as I can think, and to me, this has always been a deeply holy way of connecting with the spiritual realm. Little did I know what I was actually doing with my voice until much later...
I've been experiencing intense phases of depression, while I was privileged and blessed to manifest many childhood dreams: composing, writing, recording, and releasing my own music, touring with a band through North America, and collaborating with icons.
I believe it is our responsibility to shed the layers of social expectations and the attached fear to not fit into old, unhealthy structures. The sound of your voice will reflect your work.
My wish is to inspire you, to connect you with your authentic voice. To be able to speak up for yourself, for well-needed social and ecological justice.
‘The Cycle’, the upcoming music record, will be released in April 2024. It is a multidimensional body of art crafted and created in collaboration.

Laura Carbone’s acclaimed debut album “Sirens” was released in 2016, followed in 2018 by her haunting 2nd LP “Empty Sea” and tours with “The Jesus & Mary Chain” and NYC’s “The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.” In late 2019, having already toured in Europe earlier in the year, Laura Carbone took her band from their home base in Berlin on their second tour of North America that year. The “Empty Sea – North America Tour” was a 6,000 mile, 15-show, 3-week cross country trek from Los Angeles through the American southwest and midwest to the East Coast.
They finished their stay in the US with a performance in New York before heading up to Canada for a series of shows culminating in a featured performance at the Pop Montreal Festival sharing the bill with luminaries including the legendary Nick Cave and Laurie Anderson. After returning to Berlin and barely over the jetlag, Laura finished off a landmark year with a live nationwide performance on the acclaimed German TV show “WDR Rockpalast” in October, followed by her final concert of the year sharing the main stage at Berlin’s “Synästhesie Festival” with international luminaries The Black Lips, Stereolab, Deer Hunter and A Place To Bury Strangers.
The chaos of 2020 presented the unexpected opportunity to the live album “Laura Carbone - Live at Rockpalast”, 75 minutes of shared joy, pain, fear, tears, anger, confusion, elation, noise, sweat, attitude and gratitude. A Polaroid for a polarized world, of something bigger than any one of us individually.
The album release in December of 2020 was greeted ecstatically by fans and the press around the world, and yielded three Top 10 singles on the German Alternative Charts.
In 2020 she also founded Cosmic Dreaming - her own brand combining her intention to share and execute the healing component of music, her being as psychic medium and more holistic resources.
Laura Carbone curated her first festival in the summer of 2021, the “Cosmic Dreaming” at Festsaal Kreuzberg in Berlin, featuring the first exclusive performance of The Underground Youth and herself performing songs from the EP “In Dreams” which was released later that same year.
Like most of us, the time in lockdown also led Laura to examine her inner life and priorities. Her desire to spread the healing qualities of music condensed into a resolve to deepen and expand her already considerable knowledge about the subject of how sound frequencies can be applied as “Sound Healing” to restore our sense of balance, physical health and inner peace, and to practice and share this knowledge with others.
To this end, she is already working with her voice, frequencies, energies and “Alchemy Crystal Bowls”, and collaborating with like-minded artists on ways to consciously integrate healing frequencies into their own live and recorded work in a way that broadens and enriches the music.
Laura Carbone started sharing her gifts as a psychic medium with the public in early 2022.
